Whistler Cheno is a robust jacket with a water-repellent treatment and membrane that keeps moisture out while allowing excess heat to escape. The jacket has heavy padding, providing good insulation in cool conditions.The jacket is suitable for outdoor activities where protection against rain, wind and moisture-wicking properties are important. The materials and construction ensure water resistance of 10,000 mm without taped seams, wind protection and moisture transport away from the body to maintain a stable temperature. The surface treatment Bionic Finish is applied for increased water repellency and typically withstands 5–10 washes; the treatment remains active after tumble drying, although care labels often advise against tumble drying.
