The popular Obex has gotten even better. With the Obex Backcountry MIPS, POC has taken all the knowledge they've gathered from years of producing world-class ski helmets and packed it into one new ski helmet. This means you get a modern ski helmet that combines high comfort, unrivaled protection and good materials.

The outer shell is an ABS shell, which is the type of shell that most effectively absorbs impact. It also has a thicker layer of polycarbonate for longer durability, so you get a helmet that you can wear for many years. Polycarbonate is a material that is almost impossible to break. For even better safety, it is produced with MIPS (Multi-directional Impact Protection System). This is the best safety measure on the market when it comes to ski helmets. It reduces the risk of serious head injuries. MIPS consists of the helmet having two layers that can move independently of each other. In this way, the ski helmet can absorb impacts much better as the two layers do not necessarily affect each other.

There is adjustable ventilation so you can easily adjust to the temperature. At the back of the helmet, you can also adjust the size so that it fits as desired.

This model is specifically designed for backcountry skiing outside the boundaries of the ski area. That's why it's equipped with both a RECCO reflector and an NFC Medical ID chip. The NFC chip can be filled with your health information so that paramedics can help you faster and more easily in the event of an accident.

You won't find many helmets on the market that are better and safer than this one! The focus is on safety, comfort and design.

We ship packages with both DPD and GLS.

If you order before 6 p.m. on weekdays, we will ship your package the same day and you will usually receive it within 2-5 business days.

Shipping is even free if you order for more than 125 EUR.

Returns

Should you need to return anything to us, you are responsible for the shipping costs related.

We have a 14 days return policy, starting from the day you receive your goods.

Christmas presents can be returned to the 5th of January.
