Helly Hansen Glacier DownThis winter jacket is designed for hikers who need substantial warmth and protection in winter conditions. The jacket features hydrophobic down with 800 fill power, treated to repel moisture and thereby maintain warmth in wet conditions. There is strategically placed Primaloft Black Rise insulation in the shoulders to prevent the backpack from pressing on the down and creating cold spots between the layers. An adjustable hood keeps you warm and dry, and the fabric’s ripstop construction provides durability. A two-way front zipper offers ventilation and easy access if you are carrying gear in the area. The hood, drawcord, is adjustable, and the pockets have zippers with brushed tricot on the inside to keep your hands warm. Velcro adjustment at the sleeve ends and a drawcord at the waist provide a snug fit. A brushed tricot chin guard and an inner pocket for valuables complete the jacket as a warm mid-layer for cold weather and outdoor experiences.This model uses Allied Feather & Down and 800 FP down. It is hydrophobic treated and designed to retain warmth in wetter conditions. It has a YKK two-way zipper, and Primaloft Black Rise insulation of 133 g. There is a no shoulder seam construction as well as a light fleece in the hand pockets. The jacket is equipped with adjustable hood, bottom and cuffs, zippered chest- and hand pockets and an inner chest pocket with zipper. It is produced with recycled content and Bluesign classification, and the down is certified by the Responsible Down Standard (RDS) through IDFL.
